Once you open the sealed 400g box, keep the powder in a cool and dry cupboard away from steam and sunlight. Our families find an airtight container works best after opening. The cereal stays good for several weeks if you close it properly each time.
A growing infant needs cereal mixed with water or breast milk at feeding times during weaning. One 400g box gives you enough for many days of regular meals for one baby. Most families find they open a fresh box before the last one runs completely empty.
The sealed 400g box arrives with the label showing batch and expiry dates clearly printed. Check that the tamper-proof lid has not been opened or damaged in transit. Please follow your doctor's or a health worker's advice before starting any new food for your baby.
The powder mixes easily into a smooth texture without lumps when you stir it well. Start with the amount your health worker suggests and watch how your baby takes to it. Keep a feeding spoon clean and always use fresh water or milk each time you prepare a meal.
Once opened, keep the powder in an airtight container in a cool dry place away from moisture and sunlight. It stays good for several weeks if you seal it properly after each use and always use a clean dry spoon.
One 400g box provides enough for several weeks of regular daily servings for one infant, depending on how much your baby eats at each feed time. Most families find they need a new box before the last one finishes completely.
Please follow your doctor's or a health worker's advice before starting this cereal with your baby. The powder mixes easily with water or expressed breast milk into a smooth texture ready to serve.
