Once you open this pouch, your baby needs to finish it the same day. Keep the unopened pack in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct sunlight until you tear it open. The seal stays good until the best-before date shown on the back of the pouch.
This single 200gm pouch makes enough for one baby for several meals, depending on portion size and appetite. Most families with a weaning baby find one pouch covers a few days of lunch or dinner servings, depending on what else the baby eats that day.
Heinz makes this in pouches that come completely ready to eat. The cauliflower, broccoli and cheese are already mixed and cooked soft for little mouths learning to eat solid foods. You simply open and serve straight onto a bowl or spoon.
Check your pouch as soon as it reaches your door. Look at the seal to make sure nothing has leaked during delivery, and confirm the date stamped on the pack. Follow your doctor or health worker's guidance on starting new foods with your baby. Store it somewhere cool until the day you plan to use it.
Keep the unopened pouch in a cool, dry cupboard away from sunlight. It stays fresh until the best-before date printed on the back of the pouch.
