Finding the right spot at home

When your ELAF locker arrives, you need to think about where it will live in your house. This is a solid steel unit that stays put once positioned, so pick your location carefully before you unlock it from the box.

Keep it in a bedroom corner, study desk, or living room cupboard away from moisture and damp walls
Place it on level ground or a sturdy table so the door hangs straight and locks properly every time
Choose somewhere you can reach easily but guests cannot see into or tamper with by accident

How your family will use it week to week

Every household has papers, cash, jewellery and documents that need protecting from theft and from curious fingers. The ELAF locker becomes part of your routine once you start using it.

Store your marriage certificate, school leaving papers, property deeds and insurance documents safely inside
Keep emergency cash, gold ornaments and expensive gadgets locked away from thieves and children reaching for them
Your whole family can use the same digital code, so no keys get lost between family members and neighbours

Setting up your code and keeping it secret

Before you store anything valuable, you must set up the digital lock system properly so only you and your family can open it. The locker comes ready for you to program your own four to six digit code into the keypad.

Choose a code that is simple enough for adults to remember but not your birthday or house number
Test your code at least five times before putting valuables inside to make sure it works without fail
Never write your code on paper or tell it to people who do not need to access your locker at all

Durability and keeping it working

This is an imported Chinese locker built with heavy steel body and electronic locking bolts that last for years when you look after them properly. Regular families get many seasons of use from this model without any trouble at all.

Wipe the outside with a dry cloth each month and never spray water directly onto the digital keypad buttons
The battery inside the lock lasts several years, and you will get a warning when it runs low on power
Keep the door hinges clean and dry, and do not force the door open if the code does not work the first time

Electronic digital keypad lock with your own custom four to six digit code
Heavy steel construction imported from China by Furnitex, built to last many years
Fits in bedroom, study or living room to protect documents, cash and jewellery safely
Battery powered system with low power warning, no keys to lose or duplicate
Solid hinges and locking bolts designed for daily household use without jamming

Where should I keep this locker at home and is it safe from damp?

Keep your ELAF locker in a dry spot like your bedroom corner or study, away from bathroom walls and kitchen moisture. Place it on level ground so the door hangs straight and the lock works smoothly. Wipe the outside monthly with a dry cloth to keep it in good condition.

How long will this locker last if I use it every day?

The ELAF FT-L350 is built from heavy steel and designed for years of regular household use. The electronic lock battery lasts several years and gives you warning when it runs low. If you keep it dry and do not force the door open, you will get many seasons of reliable service.

How many lockers does a typical family need for their valuables?

One ELAF locker is enough for most Bangladeshi families to store marriage certificates, school papers, property documents, emergency cash and jewellery safely. If you have a large home business or many valuable items, you might add a second one, but one locker covers what most households need to protect.

Is this locker safe to use if there are children in the house?

Yes, the digital lock keeps curious children away from dangerous items and expensive things they should not touch. Only adults who know the code can open it, so your valuables stay protected. The locker is heavy and sturdy, so it will not tip over if children climb on it.
